As a Section Lead and Assistant Public Defender in East Baton Rouge, Ryan has handled serious felony cases, led legal teams, and ensured that due process is upheld in every courtroom he enters.
Before earning his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center, Ryan completed a Master of Public Health in Urban Public Health — equipping him with a deeper understanding of how poverty, public health, and systemic inequities intersect with the criminal legal system.
